‘Pushpa 2’ pre-booking box office: Star Allu Arjun sells 15,000 tickets across national chains in 3 hours

Allu Arjun is gearing up for the release of his upcoming beast Pushpa 2: The Rule next week. Directed by Sukumar, the film is set to make a huge start at the box office. Here’s a look at the pre-booking sale in Hindi.

Pushpa 2 (Hindi) recorded 15,000 hits on the leading national network; Ready to start Banger

Limited advance booking Pushpa 2 opened on Saturday morning in non-national chains, and national chains opened delivery around 2:00 pm (November 30). The response looks phenomenal as the film has received very good sales within a couple of hours.

As of 5:00 pm (November 30), Pushpa 2 is selling around 15,000 tickets across three major national chains – PVR Inox and Cinepolis – within just three hours of opening advances. While PVR Inox leads with 12,500 admissions, the latter contributed around 2,500 admissions. Starrer Allu Arjun is expected to end the day by recording an impressive footfall in the range of 30,000 to 35,000 by the end of the day.

Pushpa 2 aims to sell tickets worth over 5,000 khs at PVR Inox and Cinepolis and become one of the top three advance bookers of all time. Baahubali 2 (Hindi – 6.50 lakh tickets), Pathaan (5.56 lakh tickets), Jawan (5.57 lakh tickets) and KGF Chapter 2 (5.15 lakh tickets).

Pushpa 2 records good pre-sales with limited sales in non-national chains

Apart from PIC sales, the film is selling very well in overseas chains and single theaters. Directed by Sukumara, it became the fastest film to sell 1000 tickets on MovieMax. In just two and a half hours, the film sold out more than 1,300 tickets and set a new record for a feature film. It is expected to garner over 20,000 hits at MovieMax and rank among the top three films of all time: Stree 2 (21,780 tickets), Animal (18,600) and Jawan (17,500 tickets).

It is also recording good sales at Rajhans, MovieTime and Miraj cinemas and is poised to set new records early.

If all goes well, Pushpa 2 will make a jaw-dropping profit of over Rs 50 crore in Hindi, with the potential to move closer to Rs 60 crore. For the unversed, the film also starred the lead roles. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. It will hit theaters on December 5, 2024.
